Tregenza

Goteki originally formed in 2000, from the ashes of cartoon 'cybergoth' band Sneaky Bat Machine. The band is the brainchild of UK based musician and sound designer Tregenza, with other members joining for the live shows. The original line up was Tregenza with colourful characters Doktor A & Crash 303. Their second album 'Revolution' in 2005 was a jagged and occasionally scattered rethink of industrial music. Many line up changes ensued through to 2006 when Tregenza ( weary of the stagnant industial & ebm music scene ) broke up the band to try out some other, more varied projects. After a few years of experiements in Indie Rock and electro infused blues ( under the project names Jetstream Lovers & Lamorna ), Tregenza took the experiences of those wandering years and injected them into Goteki, to revitalize it with a wealth of new musical influences while retaining the core values of irrevent song-writing, wildly varied subject matters and an overall sense of experimentation and fun. Goteki are a UK Death Electro band. They sound like Bowie joyriding a DeLorean.
