Torcán

This seasoned band, led by Jason Turk, multi-medalist at the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil, has performed at prestigious venues such as the Cork Opera House and Kilworth Arts Center and appeared on The Apprentice (Irish TV series), Balcony TV Cork, IMRO's TradFest Showcase, Culture Night in Cork at the English Market, and the historic Karagoz Folk Dance Festival in Turkey. Torcán also regularly plays at festivals and pub sessions in Co. Cork. Their live EP includes original compositions as well as traditional and world music influences. Torcán is a new-style Irish Trad band from Cork, Ireland, who style fuses Jazz, Classical, Rock, Dance, Cajun genres to create an energetic and complex sound.
