Tongs formed in 2008 after an intense period of work of the rhythm section, which has always been a basic component of the sound and their creative process. Their music it’s powerful, magnetic, with hypnotic riffs and unique rhythms that shape the band’s sound since the beginning. Now the band is back to its essence of bass and drums duo. They evolved from jazz improvisation mixed with rock and electronics to a style that is even more heavy, communicative and personal. During these years they played a lot both in Italy and Europe. They have released two albums, "Jazz with the megaphone" for Longsong Records and "Fractal", published by the London-based label Rogues Records.
