Timesloth

Started as a side project, Timesloth quickly evolved into the main focus of it's three original members. Common ground was found between the three (Brett, Brent, and Carlos) and songs began to take form in the early spring of 2012. The trio started playing around Minnesota, soon enough were in the studio a.k.a. a basement. Timesloth's first EP was recorded with Walker Martin at his home in November/December 2012 and released on January 12 through Bandcamp. Many shows were played in support of this release, titled 'Eyes of the Future.' After releasing the EP and playing multiple shows around the Twin Cities in support of it, Carlos Kelley was replaced by Alec Tonjes on the drums. With Alec in the band, writing resumed for a new 4 song EP of more song-based and rock oriented music. Shows were played, and those 4 songs were recorded July-August of 2013. The first single, 'Snatch Racket' featuring folk singer Lia Smith, was released August 22nd, 2013. "Sole" was released on August 30th 2013.
