About Thru The Mill
Two-piece acoustic band based in Huntington, WV. Said to "de-compose" music by whittling down full band sounds into two vocals, an acoustic guitar, and a wooden box.
Thru the Mill has been active within the tri-state area and beyond since 2011, playing headlining slots at Heart of Summer Art and Music Festival, Break the Silence Music Festival (Grayson, KY), and Indy Invasion (Indianpolis, IN). They have also provided either the primary or secondary stages at the above listed events (via PAYNE STAGE), as well as Feel the Fire Fest (Pataskala, OH).
Both members are active in other acts as well, with Derek also playing bass for Zero Dark Thirty, and Matt performing as a solo artist, as well as his new endeavor "Nameless Fred"
