Through Lifeless Eyes

Through Lifeless Eyes started in June 2012 as some kids in high school. Vocalist Jon Davis and guitarist Nick Rubin worked together at a McDonalds in Rochester. Eventually through conversation it was found out that Jon Davis played guitar and did vocals, and was currently working with a drummer (Mayson Colon). While Nick Rubin was a guitarist and was writing riffs with other guitarist Benjamin Edlind. Jon seeking guitarists and Nick seeking a vocalist and drummer, it was perfect from the beginning! After a few jam sessions we began to write some music, and soon after our first EP "Monsters In Every Man" part 1 was half written. About december of 2012 Kyle Lederman contacted Jon, knowing that Jon had been a musician through high school, Kyle hoped that Jon could help with his final project for a college music class, which was to record a few songs from a band. For the next few months the members of TLE and Kyle made the journey to the studio once a week, and grinder to record our first EP. During this we book our first show, without actually having a bassist in the line up yet. With the show nearing quickly, we ask Kyle to be our bassist and he gladly accepts, learning all of the material on a guitar in a week and playing bass his first time at our first show. Through Lifeless Eyes has matured a lot since its conception, and has adapted more progressive metal techniques, as well as a more defined sound. In 2014 We released our first full length album, "Monsters In Every Man". This album was recorded and mixed by Jon Davis right at home. After It's release we went on to play lots of local shows, getting to share the stage with acts such as Rings Of Saturn, As Blood Runs Black, The Agonist, Aborted, Upon This Dawning, Pyrexia, And other great national and local acts. Currently TLE is working on our next Concept EP, and we will be sharing material from this in the nearby future. 2015 looks bright!
