The Virginia Sil'hooettes

The Virginia Sil'hooettes were founded at the University of Virginia in 1989 and have been rocking the silver ever since. Whether they're traveling the country or performing at their semester concerts, it's impossible to miss this all- -female powerhouse. They were chosen to sing at the White House, represent all-female collegiate a cappella in the Kennedy Center's ten-day event, "A Cappella: Singing Solo", sung at Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox home baseball games, and have opened for recording artists Ben Folds and Girl Talk. Their last five CDs have received numerous awards and critical acclaim from CASA, including Best Female Collegiate Album, Best Female Collegiate Soloist, Best Original Song, Best Female Collegiate Song, and Best Female Collegiate Arrangement.
