The Unik

THE UNIK "Everyone is Unique" The Unik is a first-class mastering engineer, a musician and a hyper-creative producer in Bass Music of any kind. Working in his own Mastering facility « X-PAND SOUND MASTERING » in the South of France, he also produces all of his tunes there. His first two EPs were signed on PLAY ME RECORDS in 2010, and revealed the guy to the bass music world. The Massive Hybrid Drumstep tune « POWER » was instantly playlisted by : Excision (on his X-Rated Mix series), as well as Spor or Evol Intent to name a few. It also hit the top 5 on Beatport's Dubstep Charts. In 2011 followed the release of the massive Gazoline EP on his own label CHATEAU BRUYANT RECORDS featuring fellow top French producers Niveau Zero and Habstrakt remixes. This EP received great support from Top DNB producers like : Ed Rush, Dirtyphonics, Chris Renegade and Inside Info. The Original track was then featured on Neurofunkgrid's Youtube Channel with more than 40 000 Vues and counting. This led to the signing of The Unik on Dubstep super star BORGORE's Label : BUYGORE RECORDS. The "FILF EP" in Duo with HABSTRAKT was then released later this year, and extensively playlisted on BBC1XTRA Daily dose of Dubstep by Borgore himself, Datsik, Downlink, Dodge & fuski, and Truetiger. He was already constantly touring to play his tunes in FRANCE, with a full multitrack Live Setup on a Laptop using Ableton live with Midi controllers, but also went to HOLLAND and SWITZERLAND. Then in 2012 came the time for his first ASIA TOUR across many countries such as : CHINA, THAILAND, MYANMAR and VIETNAM. With great success, he played in big cities such as : Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, Chengdu, Hanoi and Rangoon. Next to come on BUYGORE was a solo EP named "THE BASS GAME", a pure dancefloor Destroyer, which led to a special guest mix for the prestigious Annie Nightingtale show on BBC RADIO ONE alongside Foreign Beggars. He also released two tunes on BUYGORE'S Allstar Album Volume 1 (2012) & Volume 2 (2013) climbing the TOP 10 on DUBSTEP.NET and played on UKF's Podcasts. One of the greatest news of 2013 was when DOWNLINK asked him to Play his tune POWER Live with EXCISION and KJ SAWKA's Super futuristic Dubstep Band known as : DESTROID. Early 2014, Buygore released His « My Land EP » , wich hit the top 20 as a single on Beatports TOP 100 Dubstep Charts. He then went for a spécial CHINA TOUR, across Beijing, Tianjin, Kunming and Chengdu. His recent remix of Downlink's tune « Raw Power » was featured on « The Launch Remixed » EP, (UPLINK AUDIO), including remixes from FIGURE, PROTOHYPE, AJAPAI and more. It gained huge support on EDM.com. At the begining of 2015 he officialy remixed the tune "Get Stupid" by DESTROID to announce their Safe in Sound tour. Closely followed by another remix for "Mayor Apeshit" this time, alongside other big names like Kennedy Jones, Terravita or Dack Janiels. Then comes the times for the Unik to start writting his own album. The entire year 2016 is focused on this, and the album named "FUERZA" is finally released on December the 16th 2016. After 2 days, the Album enters 4 beatport's top 10 charts in Dubstep, Electro House, Downtempo and Glitch hop where it sits directly at the 2nd place just under Deadmau5's recently released album. Seeing the success of the LP, Things are going fast now and a big Asian tour is on negociation as we speak. He delivers mad live sets mixing Dubstep, Drumstep, Trap, Drum and bass and Electro in a personal yet explosive performance. Adrien Sauvaget aka "The Unik" is a French/Scottish Electronic Music Producer, and also a well reknowed Mastering Engineer. He does everything in his own Mastering facility "X-Pand Sound Mastering" located in South of France.
