The Unconscious Mind

Coming together from the South Shore of Montreal, the members of The Unconscious Mind mix jagged pieces of black, death, progressive and symphonic metal to forge a distinctly deadly sound. TUM’s tight and technical yet atmospheric, approach many listeners with a long-sought-after link between these genres. Following the release of debut demo Witness The Madness in 2009, TUM began performing on the scene in Montreal and the surrounding region. Providing support for local and international acts. In 2012, TUM undertook the recording of a 1st full-length album: Where Philosophers Fall, with Maxime Côté (Hands Of Despair) The album songs that build on what the band's experience and influences. After the album launch in Montréal and many shows around Quebec province and Canada, TUM focus on writing some new materials. In 2017, Simon Cléroux’s song-writings getting more and more ready for the pre-production. But its in early 2018 that the band very confident about the new album. A new artistic vision that will bring the band to the next level. The 2nd album is imminent, stay tuned!
