The Suicide Chords

Explosive and Beautiful. Romantic and Churning. Limitless and Boundless. All define The Suicide Chords. The Suicide Chords are the original Romance Metal. The four-piece powerhouse is comprised of incomparably dedicated and seasoned musicians, writing and playing the best music they ever been a part of creating. Jay Edwards (vox) and Jai Luna (guitar), create a huge sound of elaborate and intricate chords and soaring, intense vocals. Clay Hackett (drums) and Dylan Wills (bass), build a complex rhythmical and powerful grooving back bone. The four combined these talents to become The Suicide Chords. The band has headlined at the world famous Roxy, opened for national acts at House of Blues, and played a string of explosive shows all over San Diego. The buzz is rising amidst the local music scene and beyond. Earlier this year, the release of The Wilshire EP proved successful with nearly all of the first run discs distributed to fans. In the summer of 2011, the band released it's second EP titled "Prelude to Eleven", giving eager fans a well deserved, tightly made set of songs Produced by Dan Whittemore and Engineered by Jeff Hannan at Midcity Sound in North Hollywood, CA. The stunning video for 'Be Careful What You Wish For' (filmed and edited by Ben Edwards of Los Angeles) was also released earlier this year and previously featured on the host venue's website. This was yet another proud moment for a humble band that consistently proves all through music. 2013 will prove to be a continuation of what can only be imagined... being limitless and boundless.
