About The Rust Shakers
The Rust Shakers are based in Winchester, Virginia. We are a cover band that specializes in not specializing. We play the best music from all genres - Pop, Country, Rock, R&B/Soul...if it rocks and gets people on the dance floor, we play it!
In the summer of 2014, Randy Craun got a group of individuals together that shared a common love for music. Initially, we were just going to be a one show project for a couple of the members 30th high school reunion. Word got out about our band and we were offered a handful of private gigs to play. As time went on we all agreed that we had a good thing going and maybe, just maybe we could make a run as a full fledged band.
After playing out a few times, the opportunities continued to roll in and the band is enjoying playing many different types of shows. From standard three set shows at local watering holes to singalongs at Movie Theaters, The Rust Shakers enjoy the challenge of unique performance venues. We can tailor our set list to any audience - we don't do canned set lists.
