THE RED CARPET

I The Red Carpet sono una band di 4 componenti con base in Viareggio, Italia. Fondata a fine 2009 da Giacomo Di Luise (voce e chitarra), Francesco Bocconi (basso) e Federico Giannini (batteria), in seguito entra a far parte del gruppo anche Alessandro De Antoni (synth). La band si ispira a gruppi della scena Indie/Alternative inglese e americana come The Killers, Muse, U2.. Nel 2010 esce per Nerdsound Records il primo album della band, “All These Lights”e nel Novembre 2014 “The Price Of Greatness” rilasciato per Ammonia Records e Nerdsound Records. Entrambi prodotti da Francesco Catitti. Si sono esibiti a partire da Dicembre 2010 nei principali locali di Italia aprendo anche due date dell’Eastpak Goes Acoustic Tour. Hanno avuto l’onore di suonare con band come The Vaccines, You Me At Six, There For Tomorrow e Fun. E hanno partecipato al “Rocket to Russia”, tour che li ha portati a suonare in Ucraina e Russia insieme alla band canadese “The Maddigans”. Attualmente i The Red Carpet sono impegnati nel tour promozionale dell’ultimo album, che toccherà molte città italiane e a partire da gennaio continuerà nel Regno Unito. ************************************** In spring 2010, The Red Carpet enter the studio and record their first album, “All These Lights”, with the artistic production of Francesco Catitti. This album has brought The Red Carpet playing all over Italy in the main Live Clubs. Their videos, which have achieved a remarkable quantity of views on YouTube, have even convinced the critics. Their hit “You will be at my show” has been played by the major Italian radio stations, among others by Radio Deejay. The Red Carpet have had the honor of playing with bands the likes of There For Tomorrow, You Me At Six, The Vaccines and Fun. In addition to the number of Italian tours, in September 2013 they joined “Rocket to Russia”. In 2014 The Red Carpet has a solid fan base. In these 4 years they have grown a lot as musicians as well as authors. They entered the studio again at the end of 2013 and under the artistic production of Francesco Catitti, they have recorded a mature and effective album: “The price of greatness”. Currently, The Red Carpet are engaged in the promotional tour of the last album, which will touch many Italian cities and from January will continue in 10 dates in the United Kingdom.
