The Röxy Suicide

The Roxy Suicide was formed in Denver, CO in 2012 by Dave Mansfield (The Mansfields) and Olieshox as an outlet to play music reminiscent of the Sweet, Slade, Ramones, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls and ABBA (if they were playing in a garage somewhere in Stockholm). The line-up was rounded out by Drummer Ziggy Starbux direct from Brooklyn, New York and Roxy Roller on Synthesizer following her escape from Roller Derby.


Since 1996, Dave Mansfield and the Mansfields have consistently destroyed stages everywhere from New York City to Oslo, Hollywood to Berlin...sharing the stage with the likes of: Billy Idol, The Offspring, L7, AFI, Kill Hannah, The Queers, Faster Pussycat, 7 Year Bitch, Demented R Go!, Horrorpops, Wednesday 13, Dropkick Murphys to name only a very few. Signed to Gearhead Records in 2007 and gaining a international name with the help of 3 European tours and radio support from (KROQ) The Legendary Rodney Bingenheimer "Rodney on the ROQ" in Los Angeles, and Little Steven Van Zant (Star of the Sopranos and Bruce Springstein’s E Street Band) and his Underground Garage Radio Network. The story now continues with The Roxy Suicide running directly in to the arms of the Damned and the Beautiful.

The Roxy Suicide has been headlining shows as well as supporting the likes of Richie Ramone (Ramones), Faster Pussycat, Dead Boys, Nashville Pussy, Hardcore Superstar, LA GUNS, Screeching Weasel, The Queers, Wednesday 13, Davey Suicide and the legendary Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks. A Double Single (4 sides) is now out on Elekktralux Recordings and has already been featured prominently on KROQ in Los Angeles. This is a charming reminder of how stripped down and cool Rock N Roll music can STILL be. The Roxy Suicide have just signed with The Legendary Garage Rock label GEARHEAD RECORDS to release the bands Debut Album "Glam Damaged" due out Spring 2019.
