About The Prams
Nashville’s newest Dream-Pop band took the long way around getting to music city. An Aussie boy met a Minnesota girl and fell in love with making music, and eachother . Jesse and Alta Keller found their sound creating pop-music that makes being stuck in traffic feel like you’re cruisin’ the 101 with the sunroof wide open and your hair blowing in the wind. And people are loving it. Long-time midwest fans are now joined by The Prams’ newest fans made from multiple 2018 TV and Film spots on Netflix and Hulu original films, TLC’s Counting On, ABC’s General Hospital, BRAVO’s Top Chef Junior and features on MTV’s Jersey Shore, Teen Mom 2, and Catfish.
The husband/wife duo have discovered their niche both writing and producing each song together. Reminiscence of love, fights, commitment, heartbreak, loss, hope, travel, good relationships and bad ones make the dream-pop vibes feel close to home. Their 2018 sophomore record “Dream-Pop” released May 1st and is chock full of feel-good music for when you don’t feel good (and even when you do).
" 'I hope this tension gets your attention', The Prams croon in this electro-pop tune. And after finding its way under my skin this past week, I think this song needs more attention." - Indie Shuffle
“Vocally and sonically soothing with a lush atmosphere and mid-tempo driving beat. Perfect for a sunny California drive down the coast.” - AudioDrums.com
"There are moments causing us to react in awe after encountering a sound we haven’t heard before. Both husband and wife, through thick and thin, for better or worse, exists a duo that combines musicianship with the relationship." - The Drunken Coconut (thedrunkencocount.com)
"The Prams track 'Somebody Else' has successfully merged their folk roots with electronic overtones to create a beguiling and unique sound that layers their harmonies over a very chilled and dreamy sound." - Analogue Trash (analoguetrash.com)
