The Porcelain

The Porcelain sees it's origins go as far back as '06 when we met in a previous musical project. After a few years and someone losing their mind (me) we reconnected in '11 and tried again. With the same people. Well, almost the same. The end result was CATASTROPHIC. Lives were lost, cats married dogs, and the earth was thrown off its-- what? that didn't happen? Oh, okay. Back track. Tried the music thing again, and after comparing notes, realized that the two of us were more or less on the same page, speaking from a compositional and musical point of view. So we started this new project, and after a few quickie and mad successful practices, we decided 'once more, with feeling'. All I can probably say about the music we have at the moment is that it's equal parts toe tappin finger snappin delightful and blaring 'no, wait, THE FUCK?' served with a garnish of 'I kinda like it!' Our influences below might provide a bit more insight as to what we enjoy doing. *disclaimer* I refuse to go on further with this bio for fear of becoming one of those shitty, self aggrandizing facebook bands that force you to hit the "like" button in order to hear their music. That's like walking into a weird, foreign restaurant, letting them blindfold you, and then making you pay to lick the menu before you've ordered.
