About The Orange Man Theory

Formed in 2003, in Rome, Italy, the extreme rock quartet The Orange Man Theory delivers a raging sound influenced by a strong passion for groovy dissonances, angular and odd rhythms, a perverse addiction to death metal and a real devotion for 70's super rock. Once recorded their debut cd "Riding A Cannibal Horse From Here To..." with Steve Austin of Today Is The Day, they signed to the US Supernova Records. Their album soon caught the attention of the worldwide press that acclaimed the album on the most important magazines, and The Orange Man Theory toured Europe, USA and South America. They performed at SXSW 2008 in Austin, TX, and played with bands like Sick Of It All, Today Is The Day, Wolves In The Throne Room, Venomous Concept, Cripple Bastards, -(16)-. Their second full length album "Satan Told Me I'm Right" came out in 2009 by Subsound Records and the band left on several headling European tour. In 2010 they released a 7" split with the Greek Sludgers Lucky Funeral and left on tour in Europe with the legendary -(16)-. One year after TOMT went on tour again supporting Jucifer all over Europe. Late 2011 and all 2012 the oranges appeared live just in a few shows (Napalm Death, Cripple Bastards) focusing all their energies in writing the new album. In this period Gianni left the band and Giorgioni (Tsubo's vocalist) replaced him. The new album "Giants, Demons and Flocks of Sheep" was recorded between July 2012 and January 2013 at Kick Recording Studio and Kutso Noise Home. It will be released in spring 2013 when the band will be on tour again to promote it and also celebrating the tenth year of activity.
