The Normals are a unique 5 piece from Devon whose exciting new sound is centred on a pumping brass duo and tight Rhythm section. Playing a mix of ska/folk/pop/rock originals and 'Normalised' covers of top songs, The Normals have fast made a name for themselves as a top quality band offering something that little bit different. The Normals have a full gig list performing at festivals, pubs, clubs, weddings and private functions across the South West. Their unique combination of indie-ska originals and 'normalised' covers of come epic songs have caught the attention of music lovers and venues alike. The band have developed a reputation as a top-quality band that never fail to get people dancing. With a full gig list, the band have played countless festival and pub gigs in the Westcountry and have a loyal following whenever they’re up. The bands' music has gone down particularly well at festivals. Their fun, feel-good style perfectly complimenting the laid back festival vibe. Their sets to packed out tents create an infectious buzz. To date the band have been privileged to be billed the likes of The Darkness, Reef, The Levellers, The Stranglers, Will Young, Roy Wood, The Scribes, Seth Lakeman, The Skints, From the Jam, The Selecter, The Wurzels and Mad-dog Macrae! The Normals' unique feel good grooves have captured the ears and attention of music lovers and radio stations alike. The band has received airtime on BBC Introducing Devon, BBC Radio Devon, Riviera FM, Music Mill FM, NBC Radio amongst others.
