THE NOBIS

The Place is a new electronic duo lead by The Nobis. Made from Emi Fantasia and John Lemon, the duo band formed in 2006. In the earlier career, The Nobis performed in rave parties and clubs in Tokyo and surrounding cities in Kanto Region. In 2008, The Nobis came to the eyes of the Italian fashion brand touring to Paris, France. After their first show in France, they become the face of the electronic dance scene in Tokyo playing resident live acts in major clubs. On the valentine's day of 2011, they have released their first discography single "Strawberry Time" from their independent record label Unicorn Club Records. Followed by the single release, they release their first album "Paper Pop" few months later of the same year in New York. On 22nd of March, 2011 the duo moves their residency to United States then to Canada, then to England, and currently in the Netherlands. Like the legendary Japanese painter Hokusai was said to have moved 93 times, The Nobis has been playing music in various events as they moved through North America and later Europe. In 2013, The Nobis finds their residency in Amsterdam, Netherlands where they establish their record label Unicorn Club Records. duo made form Kick Ass dreamy sound.
