Whilst the genre of is typically made up of American artists, The Headstart add their own British twist to the tried, tested and proven brand of ‘Pop Rock”. You'll mainly catch the boy's with very little or no clothes on, famed for there infamous 'Tour Diaries' on their YouTube Channel. After touring the UK & Ireland with US band Framing Hanley & My Passion in the Summer of 2011, this saw the rise of The Headstart; playing to 1,000's capacity crowds each night. This gained them a very loyal and strong following to start out with. After 3 consecutive UK headline tours of their own which saw most shows SOLD OUT, the fan base grew & grew gaining them more exposure to the rock industry. Having appeared at festivals such as Hevy Festival, Make A Scene Festival & More... With many recent features in Kerrang! Magazine naming them as 'The new Pop-Punk Allstars' + 'An act to look out for in 2013', Big Cheese Magazine, Rock Sound Magazine and Ourzone magazine; they are making a name for themselves as a act to be recognised within the British rock industry. With they're latest video release gaining huge airplay on Kerrang! TV & Scuzz, this generated great publicity. After swiftly joining the roster of Scream Promotions (All Time Low, We Are The In Crowd, Young Guns) for Radio & TV PR; then joining the roster of AM Publicity (Blink 182, Lower Than Atlantis, Black Veil Brides) for their printed PR. With the release of their debut album 'Tonight, Come What May' in January 2013, it shortly saw them hitting the road touring with Multi-million selling US band Everclear touring across the UK. As well as an incredible hype surrounding the band on their social media platforms, plus they’re incredibly loyal fan base, whom they dedicate themselves too; The Headstart & their THUGS are looking to take the UK by storm.
