The Eyes of Desolation

The Costa Rican Post Gothic Metal Band ¨The Eyes of Desolation¨ have travelled a long way from their alternative rock roots since 2008. By June 2013 the band released their first studio album titled ¨Songs for Desolated Hearts¨ recorded at Cavan Studo, the material was recorded, mixed and produced by Isak Arroyo, the album raised the flag of the gothic metal style from Costa Rica to the world. The LP also led to the production of the band´s first official video clip “Love Ends” in 2014. By mid 2015 the band signed up a musical contract with Manager Max Guitierrez at Cavan Records. teOd releases its second studio production “Awake in Dead” on Friday April 1st 2016, and will start their promotional Costa Rican tour next May. Belarusian record label Symbol of Domination will distribute the EP in Europe starting on February 28th and plans to extend their stage tour to Eastern Europe by the third quarter of 2016. Cavan Records® will manage local distribution. The EP was produced by Isak Arroyo, and all recording, editing, mixing and mastering stages took place in Cavan Studio®, in Heredia. The band had reach international positioning, gaining collaborations such as, The Funeral Vol. 5 from 272 Records(United States, 2010), also, starring its own episode on the web series “Brutally Delicious” (United States, 2013), and on the albums “Blanco y Negro Vol. 2” (Nicaragua, 2015); and “The Plague Inside – An International Tribute to Paradise Lost“ (Russia, 2016).
