The Bulletmonks

What great 4 years it's been. 2 records, over 150 energetic shows all over europe, support tours with Volbeat, DAD, UFO and WASP, aswell as heaps of grand festival slots during the last summers. Quite alot has happened since the 4 boys from the Nürnberg outskirts locked themselves in an old dill pickle factory and swore to themeselves only to leave it to play rock n roll. Gladly they did that quite often, as it get's bloody cold in there during winter. They had to pay their dues, work hard and always get back to their feet, but the result couldn't be cooler: The third record is due to be released in the first quarter of 2014. The fans can rest assured that they'll get the fast, fat and groovy rock n roll that they're used to. Hooks and solos go without saying. Show by show, and fan by fan, the band's hunger has grown, and that hunger needs to be satisfied. Last winter a second guitarplayer was recruited, in autumn a new drummer was recruited, the live sound and songwriting was taken to the next level to start 2014 as prepared is they can. This new lineup of the band with out a doubt is the strongest one that the Bulletmonks have ever had. The feedback of the first two records and the concerts of the new formation were really great, so that the boys had no choice but to get right to work on the new album. The Bulletmonks played their asses off to make ot from the outskirts to the city, and from there to germany and europe, gaining the trust and acceptance by the fans. Now it is all about giving that trust back and take on the next step in the big wild world of music. It's really a privilage to be able to do what we love, to have made it as far as we have, and just play rock n roll as often and as raw as we can. It's all we ever wanted. Aber nun mal ganz von vorne: 8 Semester ist es mittlerweile her, als den 4 Kugelmönchen (der Name bedarf übrigens noch Klärungsbedarf…) die mittelfränkische Provinz so sehr auf den Sack ging, dass sie ihrem Proberaum - eine dahinsiechende Gurkeneinmachfabrik… - den Rücken zukehrten, um sich auf ein Stelldichein mit der Welt des Rock n Roll einzulassen. Schweiß, Tränen, Lehrgeld und viel Alkohol waren die stetigen Begleiter und sind nicht zuletzt die essentiellen Zutaten eines Kreativeintopfes, welchem nun der nächste Ohrenschmaus entspringt:In der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 2013 steht das dritte Studioalbum von Tyler Voxx, Dangerous Dan, Spreace Jackson und M-Dogg an… War da nicht noch was?! Richtig, mit Shark Schuster konnte die Band einen zweiten hochkarätigen Guitarero und mit Bristle Brush Johnson einen arschtretenden Profi an der Schießbude ins Boot holen, was die neuen Songs noch grooviger, tighter und fetter klingen lässt! „Außerdem war ich an der Gitarre immer scheiße.“ hat Tyler Voxx der Sache noch hinzuzufügen. Das frischgebackene Quintett ist mehr als hochmotiviert, ihre Erfolgsgeschichte um das eine oder andere Kapitel zu ergänzen. Und die Provinz in Mittelfranken ist dennoch stets mit von der Partie – auch wenn sich das Hochdeutsch der Bulletmonks langsam hören lassen kann. „Es ist wirklich ein Privileg und alles was wir je wollten, es auf den Markt zu schaffen und das zu tun was wir immer und ausschließlich wollten: Zu rocken.
