The Breakfast Machine

The Breakfast Machine was an eclectic band with catchy hooks made up of dedicated local artists that make this band unique. Winners of the Dallas Observer Music Awards 2012 for Best Rock Act, as well as 2012 Fort Worth Weekly's Best Female Vocalist, The Breakfast Machine offered a different type of sound. Labeled under the general genre of psychedelic pop rock, we represented every aspect of these genres and more. Our diverse music was manipulated through a collaborative effort in our song writing process. The guitarists Ryan Sobczak and Chris Mansfield used pedal boards to great effect to bring a unique sound that The Breakfast Machine was known for, while the bassist Brandon Reynolds and drummer Zach Mayo provided a strong base and solid strength to the music. Lead vocalist Meghann Moore floated her vocals over the music, creating catchy tunes and lyrics that captivated fans and critics, as seen by the quotes below. Together they stressed heavily on fantastic live performances and stage presence, as well as instrumental and vocal virtuosity. Our debut album "A Pitch to the Wind" was reviewed by several critics including the Fort Worth Weekly, FWIX and the Music Enthusiast which has garnered nothing but positive acclaim. The album was also nominated for the FWW 2013 Award for Indie-Rock Album of the Year.
