The Boosters

The BOOSTERS started in September 2013 by Manfred de Roos. The Boosters is a multinational formation of 12 musicians. It´s the idea to deliver a great and remember able show with a solid back-line, a fat horn section, dancing girls and expressive singers who will assure the audience a great time dancing. Half year later we stood together with the Skatalites on stage and a year later we had done our first 30 gig's. We refer to our music as Skarockreggaeraggafunksoultwotone. We play covers from like The Specials, Reel big fish, Valkerians, Skangaroos and Leningrad. If it is suitable we also do instrumentals. At the moment we are working on new arrangements and will work on original compositions! Our singers are Manfred de Roos, Hiske Oosterwijk, Arianne Meyst and Sharida Tetehuka. All from Holland.
