The Beginner’s Mynd is Dan McNabb’s long-distance call to a bygone psychedelic era full of chiming twelve-string guitars, fuzz, Farfisas and Mellotrons. Since their 2013 debut EP on Burger Records, The Beginner's Mynd have paid homage to their influences by blending garage rock and psychedelia through the exclusive use of vintage instruments and retro analog recording techniques. Their subsequent 7" singles and debut LP, “Don’t Lose Your Mind” on 13 O'Clock Records garnered gleaming reviews from It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine, Shindig!, Bananas, and Ugly Things Magazine, as well as inclusion onto many “best of” lists.
