The Archivist

Since their formation in 2011, The Archivist have wasted no time in carving out their own place in Australia's powerful Metal scene. Engineering progressively structured songs from a death metal foundation, The Archivist bring an eclectic sound to the genre that is all their own. Quickly garnering the attention of the Australian and international metal community with their debut self-titled EP, the boys went from strength to strength during their first year of touring supporting some of the world's biggest heavy acts in Veil Of Maya (USA), Psycroptic, Sybreed (SWE) and Ne Obliviscaris just to name a few. They also ended the year on a high note landing spots on highly acclaimed metal festivals Bastardfest and Sonic Forge Festival. The boys from Brisbane have since traveled through Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria in support of their debut EP, and have included supports for Thy Art is Murder, Aversions Crown. and Alarum.
