The Anthemeers

Thank you for visiting our site and for participating with us in our dream. We want you to know that we consider you an integral part of what we’re doing because the dream we pursue involves you. The Anthemeers are not about creating music for anyone (no offense!), but instead we feel that music is something that helps to create all of us. “The greater the master, the more his person vanishes behind his work.” And this is truly our hope. We want to take part in a style of music that draws people together and allows us all to move where the music takes us. The members of the Anthemeers have been individually pursuing this idea for years but we were recently lucky enough to find like-minded musicians to help one other realize this dream. Thus the Anthemeers were formed. Our interest in participating in music communally has given us a chance to brush shoulders with a wide range of genres and consequently has allowed us to develop a great appreciation for world music. Because of this we have a somewhat eclectic sound but we still maintain our roots in the indie and folk genres. We’re currently based out of Huntsville Texas with seven members who each play multiple musical roles. The members are currently Jay Elms, Ryan Sausage, Daniel Gathright, Lauren Novak, Josh Jackson, Kevin Dixon, Morgan Jenks and Nathan Huff. Anthemeers website
