About The Annie B! Band

2017 is shaping up to be a time for writing, creating and polishing new and old works. Oklahoma brings change and opportunity for Annie B as a solo artist and potential collaborations with local friends and colleagues. Denver gave communion with the mile high blues society and provided professional development hosting open mics and through teaching individual lessons. Houston, where the band began and ended, was thus far the biggest growth period that only added fire to an already hothearted player. Annie B! began her career as a solo artist in Chicago. In 2011, she relocated to Houston to partner with J. Rogers (bass) and Stephen B (drums) where The Annie B! Band formed and performed at the Last Concert Cafe for 3+ years each Thursday night. Annie B! has performed with blues guitar legend Leonard 'Low Down' Brown who won the International Blues Competition in 2000. The Annie B! Band jammed with Lil' Screamin' Kenny, who contributed to Steppenwolf and Lightnin' Hopkins. Regular guests included Houston keyboardist Chaz Nadege, and well known Randy Woodard (drums/percussion/sound engineering), a staple in Houston music scene (Drummer for Hightailers since '91 & PotRoast since '96). Totally Original Music.
