Upon entering the music scene in what can only be described as a frenzy in late 2012, and have since dazzled audiences across the country with there hybrid style of Urban-Rock, which at its essence is a British rock sound, served in a attitude driven Urban fashion. That delivers a exotic blend which coupled makes a infused melting pot of musical styles and genres. In a scene where artists are constantly being pigeon- holed and put into various categories, The Akalites have stood alone, being described as a ‘breath of fresh air’ to what is a monotonous, cliché laced commercial music arena by sublimely epitomising how experimental music can go mainstream! (Annika Allen, Flavour Magazine) and after extensive gigging, bringing there sing along anthems and stadium rock style shows to venues across the country that is ‘explosive on stage!‘(Adam Deacon of BBC Radio 1) The Akalites truly are a sonic force to be reckoned with.
