About the GazettE
the GazettE (Their name since the beginning of 2006. They were before named ガゼット) is a japanese rock / visual kei band that started in mid 2002. The band creates an unique sound by mixing different styles of music together, such as rock, pop, punk and metal, all the while keeping a strong image on and off stage.
the GazettE was originally signed with the 「Matina」label, but during March 2003, they switched over to the PS Company record label - right after replacing their original drummer ユネ (Yune) , with ex-drummer of Mareydi†Creia’, 戒 (Kai). Despite some rumours, the band has stated that they have no particular interest in major debuting.
Their newest release is 'LEECH' a single released on November 12, 2008, featuring the songs "LEECH", "DISTORTED DAYTIME" and "HOLE".
Current line-up consists of:
◆Vocals ルキ (Ruki)
◆Guitar 麗 (Uruha)
◆Guitar 葵 (Aoi)
◆Bass れいた (Reita)
◆Drums 戒 (Kai)
