About The Blacknote Project
Adam Jaaback and James Ravenhall launched 'THE BLACKNOTE PROJECT' in 2007 with their first album 'GENTLEMEN'S TONIC - Music by THE BLACKNOTE PROJECT Volume 1; commissioned by British powerhouse company Gentlemen's Tonic, Mayfair, London. The album is still on sale online and in Gentlemen's Tonic venues Worldwide.
In 2010, the duo launched their second album 'Cafe de l'Esplanade' (originally written for Buddha Bar) in Sweden and online.
Both the first two albums are available on iTunes and Spotify.
In 2013, The Blacknote Project redefined themselves as BLACKNOTE SOUND SYSTEM; a creative collective with Adam Jaaback and his DANCE music alter-ego DANNIE BOURGEOIS at the helm, featuring the enlisted talents of additional musicians, rappers and vocalists.
In October 2015, BLACKNOTE COLLECTIVE solidified both sub-brands;
'The Kings of Noir', THE BLACKNOTE PROJECT founding duo; Adam Jaaback and James Ravenhall continue to write for FILM and TV and have their lifestyle music represented by HUMMINGBIRD MUSIC PUBLISHING, Soho, London.
BLACKNOTE SOUND SYSTEM, with prolific musician/Poet/DJ/Producer Adam Jaaback a.k.a. DANNIE BOURGEOIS as the driving force are a priority DANCE music collective.
Late 2015/early 2016 Adam Jaaback took on representation by MONDO RECORDS and Manager Oliver Perry (SAMPLE ANSWER) with the aim of developing the DANNIE BOURGEOIS brand. Unfortunately this partnership was to be short-lived, and in March 2016 Perry was dismissed for being ineffectual.
Assuming complete control of all marketing and promotion, Adam Jaaback a.k.a. DANNIE BOURGEOIS has since taken BLACKNOTE to new heights. With three No.1's in Sweden and WORLD rankings in ELECTRONICA as high as No. 56, THE PROJECT has gone on to enjoy critical acclaim, and has been shortlisted on the ReverbNation home page and the ReverbNation DISCOVER app (for iPhone) - Jaaback/Bourgeois and James Ravenhall now hailed as key players in the Music Industry.
