Tequila For Breakfast

Tequila for Breakfast is a hard rock band from Castiglion Fiorentino (Tuscany - Italy) formed by: Alessandro Ciloni (lead vocals & guitar), Alba Nasoni (bass guitar & vocals), Jacopo Bucciantini (drums & percussion & vocals) and Alessio Fanti as a non permament rhythm guitarist. The band originally formed in 2011, but it went through several lineup changes after that date. In 2014 though, the situation seems to become stable and, thanks to their producer “Ciccio” Li Causi (former bass player of the Italian band Negrita with 500.000 records sold and current member of another famous Italian band Litfiba), they started to review and restyle the songs the band wrote during the past years. Tequila for Breakfast’s music is made of a very straight hard rock style with a constant and considerable note of punk which is shown particularly during their live gigs. From the 1rst September 2013 Tequila for Breakfast official Italian fan club is on, followed by the American and Austrian fan clubs. Chosen as the “Band of the month August 2014” by Rome by Wild, the name of the band has been amplified throughout Italy, and spread in Europe and USA by magazines such as “EGL Magazine” (United Kingdom), “Live4Ever” (United Kingdom) and “IMove ILive Music Magazine” (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) and by playing their first live show outside Italy during the sixth edition of Blazefest in Belfast. They have been congratulated by many international artists, but a particular appreciation came from Philomena Lynott, mother of the late Thin Lizzy front man: Phil Lynott to whom Tequila for Breakfast dedicated their very first original song played as a band: “A Song for Phil”. Right now the band is recording new songs, along with their single “Blackout” published in March 2017, for the debut album, while getting ready for their first UK tour next November at the same time. ________________________ I Tequila for Breakfast sono una band Hard Rock composta da Alessandro Ciloni (chitarra e voce), Alba Nasoni (basso e voce), Jacopo Bucciantini (batteria e voce) e il turnista Alessio Fanti (chitarra) proveniente da Castiglion Fiorentino (AR). La band, formata nel 2011, ha trovato, dopo diversi cambi di lineup, la sua stabilità nei primi mesi del 2014, anno in cui, anche grazie alla collaborazione con “Ciccio” Li Causi, ex Negrita e attuale bassista dei Litfiba, ha dato il via ad un processo di revisione e restyling dei brani scritti negli anni precedenti. Le canzoni dei Tequila for Breakfast sono caratterizzate da uno stile Hard Rock molto diretto, contornato da una sensibile e presente nota punk, stile che viene riproposto anche nell'atteggiamento durante i live. Il 1˚ settembre 2013 nasce il fanclub ufficiale italiano dei Tequila for Breakfast, seguito dai fanclub ufficiali americano e austriaco. Scelti tra migliaia di band dai magazines inglesi e americani “Live4Ever”,“EGL Magazine” e “IMove ILive Music Magazine”, come “Band del mese di agosto 2014” da Rome by Wild e selezionati per suonare al Blazefest a Belfast nel 2016, il nome della band ha avuto modo di amplificarsi sempre di più. Oltre che da artisti internazionali, un particolare apprezzamento è giunto da parte di Philomena Lynott, madre del defunto frontman dei Thin Lizzy, Phil Lynott a cui la prima canzone mai scritta dalla band “A Song for Phil” è stata dedicata. Attualmente la band sta registrando nuovi brani, assieme al singolo “Blackout” pubblicato nel marzo 2017, che andranno a realizzare l’album di debutto e contemporaneamente preparandosi al loro primo tour nel Regno Unito il prossimo novembre.
