Syd Youth

Formed in 2013, Syd Youth is an all female EDM Pop group consisting of three dynamic talented young artists: Tessa Stone, Ashley Schultz and Sheela Awe. Each girl brings something unique and flavorful to the group and together they are a powerful unit expressing their creativity and vision. They feature an exciting mix of singing, rapping, dancing and live instruments! Syd Youth's music is fresh and innovative, their shows are pure entertainment and their look is captivating and edgy. Their first single “Mess Around” was released in July 1st, which was produced by renowned producer, Peter Stengaard who has worked with artists such as Ashanti, Pussycat Dolls and Ariana Grande. Their next hit “JIMI” was released on August the 4th and are both available on Itunes. Shortly after, the official Music Video to “Mess Around” was released, which caught the attention of 102.7 KIISFM, LA’s #1 hit music station. Syd Youth is currently signed on with KIISFM and recently performed at the KISSFM Picnic In the Park Pre-Party alongside other talent artists for the opening of the One Direction concert held at the Rose Bowl. Their next show will be on October 12th for ‘Dark Harbor’ on the Queen Mary and they are scheduled to appear at the Jingle Ball Tour 2014 in December. Syd Youth is currently residing in Los Angeles and is getting ready to release their first EP in October 2014, which is comprised of 7 songs. The essence of this Girl Group is derived from confidence, talent and motivation. These girls share a mutual passion that will lead them to success in an industry not made for all.
