Sworn to Remember

SWORN TO REMEMBER is a five-piece progressive metal band based out of southern Vermont. First conceived in early 2011, the band consisted of only three members: Jared Dicranian, Dave Rice, and Matt Schwab. After 8 months of writing material and practicing weekly, the band recruited Nick Hamel, former guitarist of Between Now and Forever, to play the bass. With the lineup set, the band prepared to enter the studio. In late March of 2012, a year after the initial inception, and only three months after the final lineup had been set, the band recorded a three track demo with Tim Lynch (Shadows Fall) at The Recording Company. “This Fight EP” is available for download on iTunes and features crowd pleasers “Get Over This” and “Hopeless”. Sworn To Remember has shared the stage with, All That Remains (Razor & Tie), SOiL (AFM Records/Pavement Entertainment), Machina (ex-Evanescence/ Future Leaders Of The World members), The Hollow Glow (Ben Carroll of Ra), Skeletonwitch (Prosthetic Records), HAVOK (Candlelight Records), Spies Like Us (InVogue Records) and many other national and local acts.
