Sweet Talking Liars

Sweet Talking Liars' Andrew (vocals and guitar), Richard (drums and percussions), Robert (lead guitar and mandolin) and Jeffrey (bass) collectively bring the raw elements of Americana rock and Folk tradition with a passion one can hardly ignore. This surprisingly young group sports a freshly unique sound with a solid foundation, causing them to make great strides in a small time frame and to achieve huge progress in the Montreal music scene, eventually catching the attention of many radio stations and promoters. To get to this point in their evolution, Sweet Talking Liars had to come to terms with their collective identity, and recording artist/producer Jay Nash (who's shared the stage with Sara Bareilles, Counting Crows, The Milk Carton Kids, Keb' Mo', Colbie Caillat and Katy Perry) had a hand in getting them there. Their creative approach is a distillation of the ideas found in 'On My Way Out' and 'Just A Little More', and is representative of a band truly finding their sound. Their current live show consists of a multitude of new material that maintains the stability of their past and an ability to evolve. 'On My Way Out' and 'Just A Little More' were mixed by multi Grammy Award winner Seth Atkins Horan (Five for Fighting, Lenny Kravitz, Joseph Arthur) and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (White Stripes, Dave Matthews Band and Willie Nelson).
