About Superstash

In 2004 vocalist Steven Vanreybrouck started as a singer/songwriter under the name S.V.-Acoustic. After a few solo live gigs and talking to some friends and meeting friend and guitarist Bart Labeur S.V-Acoustic was formed into a band. A few gigs and years later S.V.-Acoustic broke up because of differences between the members and each member went his own way. After a few years, Bart Labeur was invited to play bass in a band called Stevie And The Failbots, which consisted of Steven Vanreybrouck as vocalist, former S.V.-Acoustic drummer Matthieu Vastesaeger and last known S.V.-acoustic bass player Tom Schelfaut. It's through these rehearsals that Bart and Steven talked about re-starting S.V.-Acoustic but with a different approach. Bart Labeur and Steven Vanreybrouck started playing with long-time friend, the man that gave all the projects and bands a place to rehearse for so many years and (at the time) drummer of Wasted 24/7, Gerard Cornet. And that's how Superstash was born. After writing new songs and re-writing some S.V.-Acoustic songs, the band searched for a bass player. After trying a few bass players, good friend Maxim Lambert told Superstash he wanted to give it his best shot. He just recently switched from guitar to bass. The band was finally complete, and now, after years of rehearsing and being locked up in a small room with four sweaty guys and the smell of smoke, beer and hairy armpits, the band is ready to rock the stage! contact: theamazingsuperstash@gmail.com
