Sunny Rude

Formed in the summer of 2010, Sunny Rude has quickly spread their unique reggae vibes with an new musical style and energetic stage presence all throughout San Diego. A Groovy Funky Eclectic Reggae Rock Pop band, formed in Ocean Beach, CA their music brings both feelings of warm, Sunny, summer days combined with the edgy attitude’s of Rude Boys. Sunny Rude excels in their live shows, always involving the crowd and captivating music lover’s, both young and old. With their catchy vocal melodies, deep basslines, addictive harmonies, shredding solos and unique rhythms, the high energy shows always leaves the crowd craving for more. Their 1st album, “Rudimentary”, released in November of 2011, was nominated for the San Diego Music Awards 2012, for Best World Music Album and is available on iTunes and Spotify. Now, having played some of the most prestigious clubs (The Galaxy Theatre, 4th&B, The Belly Up) and with national touring acts (Pato Banton, The Expendables, 40 Oz. To Freedom, Bedouin Soundclash, Fortunate Youth, The Super Villains), the band is ready to begin spreading the “Rude” throughout the Nation and the World.
