Sunny Brown

Born in Chandigarh and raised in Montreal, internationally renowned singer, composer and producer Sunny Brown, burst onto the Asian music in 2007 with the smash hit single “Soniye Ni”. Later in 2007 Sunny Brown, with his ability to seamlessly fuse Punjabi music and mainstream western music, teamed up with Lomaticc and released what would become the chart toppers “Slip and Fall”, “Somebody” and “Roses” The duo were then joined by DJ Baba Kahn to form the very popular Culture Shock Trio. With hits like “Bombay Bo”, “Tonight” ft Kardinal Offishall, “Ex’d Up”, “Tu Hai Meri”, and “Beautiful, the Trio toured worldwide and were recognized as the 2013 Canadian Urban Music Awards “ones to watch” as well as the 2014 Anokhi group of the year. Sunny brown’s musical influence comes from his younger days growing up with a musically inclined father. Sunny’s professional career resulted in over 300 plus shows including performing to over 100 000 people in Times Square, New York twice, and he worked with international mainstream artists Lil Jon, Sean Paul, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger, Lady Gaga and more. In may 2015 Culture Shock ended and Sunny Brown began his solo career. His first single “Teri Yaad Mein” reached to top of the charts on October 26, 2014. Sunny is following up with another smash, “Talli”, featured in Deepa Mehta’s new movie Beeba Boys starring Randeep Hooda releasing October 16 2015. Currently Sunny Brown is in the midst of recording his debut solo album and working on bollywood projects.
