Three-piece Strangers In Paradise have been a huge shot in the arm for the Yorkshire music scene and are hot off the heels of their debut EP “The Story" & the recently released "The Story Part 2". Strangers in Paradise formed in January 2012 and wasted no time in releasing their debut album “The Story” to high acclaim from Northern media including BBC Introducing as well as some from further a field. This in turn with live appearances at the Harrogate Fringe Festival and at the legendary Cavern Club, Liverpool, as well as providing support to Bruce Foxton’s "From The Jam" and Nine Black Alps has given the band a springboard on which to build. Strangers In Paradise are innovators not followers and want to show people that there is more to music than Xfactor. Numerous gig reviewers have highlighted the use of rap/hip hop/soul music in their songs, mixed with big rock riffs which set them apart from other bands, This has lead to high praise with the man behind oasis, Primal scream ,record label owner, musician, manager, and music blogger for The Guardian Alan mgee saying “I like it good tunes” and with gig scene reviewer Graham Chalmers hailing their work "one of the most ambitious pieces of work he's heard for a long time" S I P wont be strangers for long!
