About Stone Soul Foundation

Seasoned musicians Jeff Wiggins (guitar), Sean Muldoon (lead vocals), and Shane Stillman (drummer) formed STONE SOUL FOUNDATION in 2002. Doug Paradise came on board in 2005 replacing original bassist, Greg Parker. The founding members were inspired to create their brand of solid, heavy, and soulful hard rock music based on their belief there was a desperate need to bring passion back into rock, and metal music; the type of passion felt in the 1960’s, and 1970’s, specifically. They give their heart and soul to every song they pen, every riff they develop, every beat they play. Listen, and you will hear 70’s metal, classic rock, and heavy blues with a modern twist. SSF has two full-length albums: INTO THE FLAMES (SAMMY award winner, Syracuse, NY), and ELECTRIC VALLEY (recorded and produced with the legendary Alex Perialas (Anthrax, Testament, Bad Religion)). ELECTRIC VALLEY’s “Ain’t No Mystery” was selected for the Classic Rock Magazine top track on the magazine’s “Super Rock Power Hour” compilation CD while “Sidewalker” was chosen for the soundtrack of Julian Grant’s Pollygrind UFF award winning Indie Film SWEET LEAF - a blood-drenched heavy metal heist! Check out the music video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ei3pgXlCk24. “Love the CD from start to finish...It has a real classic Deep Purple/Black Sabbath feel/sound to it and I really dig the Cd and the band as a whole! Has to be one of the best bands I've heard in a long time!” Jason Houston, Chaotic Riffs Magazine (additional reviews below). Through a destined meeting on an airplane, two SSF’s members were invited to appear on Animal Planet’s “Hillbilly Hand Fishin” for some ‘noodling’! Check it out to see if Shane, and Sean were successful! http://stonesoulfoundation.com/ssf/media-photos.html In 2013, SSF embarked on a fan-funded concept video based on new single, TAKING BACK THE U.S. The video debuted 9/11 on Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_baigU-Ecw "TAKING BACK THE U.S. has to be one of my favorite videos." James Allen Giroux, The Hellion Rocks & Bleach Bangs Radio 2014 brought new single RIDING HIGH, recorded by SUBCAT STUDIOS, and in rotation on WAQX “95X” Syracuse, NY. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAbSbOxxE1o. SSF has rocked out, and melted faces at hundreds of venues, festivals, and special events throughout the U.S. including the famed Whisky a GO GO in Los Angeles, SXSW Festival in Texas (twice), WAQX ‘95X-FEST, and headliner for the Harley Davidson 105th Anniversary. In addition, they’ve had the privilege of opening for these notable musicians: LA Guns, Warrant, Spacehog, Black Stone Cherry, Rusted Roots’ Michael Glabicki, Mountains’ Leslie West, Grand Funk Railroads’ Mark Farner, Bobaflex, Crobot, Trapt, Sick Puppies, Nonpoint, Adam Gontier, Otherwise, Sponge, Pop Evil, Eve to Adam, HURT, Smile Empty Soul, Saliva, Devour the Day, and more! Jeff’s endorsed by VOODOO AMPS, using their speaker enclosures, V-Rock amplifiers, and modified Marshall Amplifiers. He’s also endorsed by DUNLOP picks. Jeff prefers his Gibson Custom Shop guitar, and Shane uses DW Drums exclusively while Doug uses Mesa Boogie amps, Hartke speaker enclosure, and Music Man basses exclusively. Solid, heavy, soulful hard rock.
