Stereocut

Stereocut set up in Milan in December 2010. Bands member are: Antonio Capra (voice and guitar), Paul Russo (bass guitar), Simone Compagno (guitar) and Riccardo Monzeglio (drums). The first EP, released back in January 2011, is titled “ARE YOU READY” and has rock/grunge influences. In the following two years, the band works on both live concerts and musical composition, that leads to the first album. First album “STEREOCUT #1” (May 2014) is an expressive energetic mix of powerful and strong personality tracks like “Wake Up”, “I Can’t Wait”and the well known “Fast Food” and “Are You Ready”, that balance with more reflective and intimate songs as “Silence, “It’s Winter” and “With You Tonight” (these with the precious collaboration of Giacomo Ferrari on Piano). The band sound can be defined as immediate, spontaneous, engaging, energetic and dynamic. The project is a complete self-production, with an alternative rock taste. The band has collected gigs from Milan to London. Latest achievement, the song "Wake Up"- first single from Stereocut's "#1" debut - has been chosen and used by Oscar Winning Gabriele Salvatores in his latest movie "Il Ragazzo Invisibile". Stereocut. The noise you were looking for. ------ Gli Stereocut nascono a Milano nel Dicembre 2010. La Band è composta da Antonio Capra (voce e chitarra), Paolo Russo (basso), Simone Compagno (chitarra) e Riccardo Monzeglio (batteria). Il primo EP, che risale a Gennaio 2012, si intitola “ARE YOU READY” ed ha influenze rock/grunge. Nei successivi due anni, la Band si divide tra palco e composizione di nuovi brani e che portano al primo album. "STEREOCUT #1” (Maggio 2014) è un mix espressivo di brani potenti e di forte personalità come “Wake Up”, “I Can’t Wait"” ed i noti “FastFood” e “Are You Ready”, che si alternano a brani più riflessivi ed intimi come “Silence”, “It’s Winter” e “With You Tonight” (queste ultime con la preziosa collaborazione di Giacomo Ferrari al piano). Il sound della Band può definirsi immediato, spontaneo, coinvolgente, energico, dinamico. Il Progetto discografico è una completa autoproduzione, dal sapore di alternative rock. La Band ha all’attivo live da Milano a Londra. Come ultimo traguardo, il brano "Wake Up"- singolo del primo Album degli Stereocut- è stato scelto ed inserito dal Premio Oscar Gabriele Salvatores nel suo ultimo film "Il Ragazzo Invisibile".
