Steel Raiser

ENG - Steel Raiser born from an idea of two metal music lovers: Gianluca Rossi and Alfonso
Giordano, which united in music and life by a strong friendship, decided to star a new
adventure.
In 2007 they released their first EP titled "Gloria Perpetua" which will open the doors to the
first record deal with Pure Steel Records, a German label .
In 2008 was published the first studio album entitled "Race Of Steel", well received by critics
and that brings the band to perform for the first time in Germany at "Swordbrothers Festival".
After the show Gianluca and Alfonso decided to complete the line-up and transform Steel
Raiser in a classic Heavy Metal band. During 2009 Giuseppe Seminara (guitar), Salvo
Pizzimento (bass) and Antonio Portale (drums) join the band.
In 2013 was released "Regeneration" accompanied by the video "Love Is Unfair". Received by
critics and fans marks a big step forwards for the band's career. The successor
of "Regeneration" was released two years later, for the German label Iron Shield Records.
"Unstoppable" is, according to many, the best album produced by the band.
The same year is also released the promo video clip of "Decapitator", song taken from the last
album.
In December 2015 Antonio Portale, historic drummer of Steel Raiser, left the band for personal
reasons. Took his place Carlos Cantatore (Annihilator, Madwork, H-George,
Overmaster, Braindamage, Rublood, Alltheniko ...), which immediately took part in the filming of the third official video of the band.

ITA - Gli Steel Raiser nascono nel 2006 da un'idea di due musicisti della scena metal catanese:
Gianluca Rossi (ex Valkija) e Alfonso Giordano (ex Noble Savage), i quali si ritrovano uniti
dopo una lunga pausa dalle loro precedenti band.
Nel 2007 esce il primo EP dal titolo "Gloria Perpetua" che aprirà le porte al primo contratto
discografico con la Pure Steel Records, una nota etichetta tedesca. Nel 2008 viene pubblicato il
primo studio album dal titolo "Race Of Steel", accolto ottimamente dalla critica del settore e
che porta la band ad esibirsi per la prima volta in Germania al "Swordbrothers Festival". La
crescita di consensi convince Gianluca e Alfonso ad ampliare la line-up della band e
trasformare la stessa in un classico gruppo Heavy Metal. Il 2009 segna la svolta con l'ingresso
in formazione di Giuseppe Seminara (ex Noble Savage) alla chitarra, Salvo Pizzimento al basso
e Antonio Portale alla batteria. Nuova formazione, nuovo album. Nel 2013 esce "Regeneration"
accompagnato dal video "Love Is Unfair". Accolto bene dalla critica e dagli appassionati segna
un grande passo in avanti per la carriera della band. Il successore di "Regeneration" esce 2 anni
dopo, stavolta per la tedesca Iron Shield Records. "Unstoppable" è, a detta di molti, il miglior
album prodotto dalla band. Dello stesso anno l'uscita del video clip promozionale di
"Decapitator", canzone tratta dall'ultimo disco. Nel dicembre 2015 Antonio Portale, storico
batterista degli Steel Raiser, per motivi personali lascia la band. Al suo posto entra Carlos
Cantatore (Annihilator, Madwork, H-George, Overmaster, Braindamage, Rublood,
Alltheniko...) , che prende subito parte alle riprese del terzo video ufficiale degli Steel Raiser,
rilasciato nei primi mesi del 2016.
Attualmente la band è impegnata nella stesura dei pezzi che comporranno il successore di
"Unstoppable)
