Although far from the scenes that were inspiring him, growing up in the middle of the Colorado desert did have its upside. Chase Martinez, the architect behind VALETA, spent his early years in Grand Junction learning how to make sounds. From EDM to reggae to pop, music became a central part of his life as he played in groups across the country. Jumping from Grand Junction to Denver and then to Nashville, he built a reputation among his community as a production whiz. And through this work with others, he developed an ability to reach for uncomfortably honest songs that go straight to the heart. VALETA is set to release a steady stream of genre-spanning singles with hopes to inspire others to realize that no matter where they are in their story, there’s always another chapter...
