Starcruiser Crush

Dennis James Dine was brought up in the post-thatcherite desolation of a South London housing estate. Music was his way of making sense of the present and giving hope for the future. Dine progressed through a series of local bands in the London indie circuit before packing his instruments and moving to Sweden to start over. Shortly after arriving he began putting down new musical roots and scoured the local music scene for like-minded talent. After a period of experimentation he began demoing a bunch of “shimmery synth-washed pop songs” in his apartment, inspired by the contrast, romance and the simple way of life in the Swedish suburbs.
