Rising from the depths of New York City, alt-pop artist Stalking Gia marries entrancing vocals and infectious melodies with arresting visuals and dreamy production. The newest protegé of rapper and R&B artist blackbear, the two met while collaborating on bear’s “Digital Druglord” album (Certified GOLD) via the song “Wish U The Best,” which sampled Gia’s viral hit “Second Nature” (10MM streams and counting). blackbear was so impressed with Gia’s musicianship that he went on to executive produce her first release off her upcoming project, “PTSD,” and release the track on his label, beartrap, even inviting her to open for him at his sold out show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2018 (which also featured the likes of Mike Posner and mansionz). Gia will be opening for blackbear on his upcoming Summer 2019 tour for his shows in Philadelphia on June 3rd, New York on June 6th and Boston on June 7th .
Her latest single, “Miracles,” is a duet with blackbear that was released in November 2018. Featured on New Music Friday playlists around the world, “Miracles” is a duet about a toxic relationship that is beyond the point of repair and is the second single off of her debut PTSD EP, out now via beartrap. “Miracles” has over 2.6 million streams and counting.
An all around artist and visionary, Stalking Gia has her hand in several different art forms in addition to music to keep her massive fanbase (80k+ on all socials) busy. She has created the tag #stalkmeblockme on Instagram through her street art in LA and NY, and has even designed a bag with vegan designer Melie Bianco, which was featured on the site for the holidays.
