The young producer and DJ from Bergen (Norway) has built his reputation through an astonishing outlet of highly sophisticated originals and remixes over the last year. His musical creations have received major success in and out of the studio, allowing Sonny to remix tracks for high-profile artists such as Alesso, Tove Lo and Astrid S to critical acclaim. On the road, dance titan Kygo enlisted Sonny to support him on the European leg of his world tour, which saw Sonny perform sold-out shows at London’s Brixton Academy.
The diversity of his musical tastes speaks for itself, one moment remixing acoustic originals by the likes of Angus & Julia Stone and Australian folk darlings Little May, the next releasing official remixes of Swedish dance icon Alesso or the one and only Tove Lo – each time surpassing himself in style and amplitude. It is the accessibility and easiness of his productions that put him in the vanguard of the booming Scandinavian electronic scene.
