Sirens and Serenades is Post-Hardcore outfit from Almonte, Ontario Canada. Coming from such a small town, the band knows what is like to be on the road. The band is on their fourth year together and has never looked stronger. Sirens and Serenades have had the opportunity to play with some of their musical inspirations and each band has always had positive reviews of the band. Karl Schubach of Misery Signals a Ferret Records artist had this to say about the band “Great Job tonight guys keep going and you will make it, you have what it takes.” 2011 marks a big year for Sirens and Serenades, the group plans to release their EP as well as full summer supporting tour. The bands ep entitled “Always Looking Forward” will be sold digitally online through itunes and physically through local music/record stores as well as Bigcartel.com online. The band have also put out a new line of merchandise as well as securing endorsements from companies such as, Sink or Swim Apparel, Indie Guitars, New World Tattoos, Sit Strings and SRC Music. With the full five member line up being complete by Darlene (vocals) the band is going places with the new mature sound and knowledge of past mistakes. The band has had the chance to open for major players in music such as Threat Signals, Structures, Dead and Divine, Vanna, Misery Signals, We, The Undersigned as well as The Bunny, The Bear. The group came together as friends who wanted to bring back the fun to their local scene, to get kids going to shows again in the area. After realizing they had something special Sirens and Serenades went into overdrive to take over the world one fan at a time.
