Forming in late 2016, SILTMAN draw on their experiences from former bands including; Suiciety, Surdo, The Cannibal Queen, Roostar and Freakshow, to stir the gritty sediment at the bottom of the blues barrel to create some raucous heavy rock.
Releasing their debut self-titled EP mid 2017 will see SILTMAN bringing their blend of indie heavy rock and blues to the familiar territory of the Melbourne live music scene. Their eclectic influences range from the Chicago blues of Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters to the proto-punk sound of Radio Birdman and The Stooges, the dirge-like stoner rock of Monster Magnet to the swamp rock, punk blues of Kim Salmon and Beasts of Bourbon.
To undoubtedly become a force to be reckoned with, SILTMAN is a riff-laden, heavy blues, dirty rock animal that’s set to rattle a few cages
