Shooting Park

Started in late 2010, Shooting Park was founded between four high school friends, Zach Buckley, Cazden Lash, Mike Znaniecki, and Nick Wojciechowski originally under the monkier of The Big Bang. After a few months, with the departure of Mike, they found themselves as a power trio with the name they bear today. Soon after, Mike rejoined the band he helped found and Nick departed to play with Listen to Reason. Picking up the reigns on bass was Laura Roberts, formerly of Someday Soon and the Asriel Project. That summer, Shooting Park found itself playing all over the greater Central Illinois region; wildly expanding their audience in the mean time. The following fall, Lava joined in on keyboards; wildly expanding the band's sonic palette. After another year of gigging, Laura parted ways with the band to pursue a degree in photojournalism and Ethan Smith carried on bass duties. Shooting Park released their debut E.P., You Are Missing From Me on August 1st. Shooting Park in the news!
