About Shambhu Music

"SOOTHING MAGICAL GUITAR from ONE OF THE BEST GUITARISTS ON THE PLANET."
~Dick Metcalf, Contemporary Fusion Reviews

In today's modern world, people are feeling more disconnected and stressed than ever. Shambhu transforms the stillness and silence of meditation into calming sounds. An acclaimed guitarist and composer, Shambhu delivers a deeply soulful and self-reflective experience with his third studio album, Soothe, released on February 1, 2017.

The Marin Independent Journal calls Shambhu "A consummate guitarist". Through a blend of folk, Indian and jazz styles, his music eases the busy minds of students, yogis, and the overworked. Common Ground says, “Shambhu is at once precise, skilled, sensitive and inventive way beyond the norm. Soothe overflows with inspired compositions and exquisite performances.”

Shambhu's second album, 'Dreaming of Now" won Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at the ZMR Music Awards (2013).

Shambhu is featured on Whitney Houston’s Whitney, JeffOster's Next, Ricochet – The Echoes Living Room Concerts (Vol 20), two Will Ackerman compilations, The Gathering II, and The Gathering I (ZMR Award for "Best Album of the Year"), The Guitar - The Best of New Age Reviews, and on Ann Licater's Doorway to a Dream.

Shambhu also played or recorded with guitar legend Carlos Santana, Grammy winning producer/drummer Narada Michael Walden, and E-street saxist Clarence Clemons, among others.
