Shalini Sings

Born in the deserts of California, Shalini Varghese is a soul-filled singer who captivates her audience with sweet vocals and riveting melodies. Her multi-genre singing style includes jazz, blues, folk and classical, with the vocal sensibilities of Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, and Aaliyah.


During her residence in Los Angeles, Shalini has become an in-demand performing artist, who has lit up the stage at venues such as the Key Club, Cinespace, House of Blues, and Sofitel. In 2016, she performed the National Anthem for a WNBA game at the Staples Center. She has also performed around the world, including the Mahindra Blues Festival, at Buddy Guy’s Legends in 2018.

Along with being a live performer, Shalini is a seasoned recording artist and emerging songwriter. She recently collaborated with producer and co-writer, Savvy on her 2019 EP “Her Heart Speaks.” It was released on iTunes and is on all streaming platforms… you will hear fresh beats with a throwback 90’s R&B vibe, which is sure to make you groove.
